Post subject:  School me on all these parts?

Hi guys and gals
After purchasing my first ever Mini a month ago, I have just done the unthinkable a fortnight ago and also purchased a whole HEAP of parts which come with the purchase of a couple of spare engines.

Would be extremely helpful to me, and I'm sure insightful for future first time Mini owners if I could gradually post some photos of all the spare parts acquired with the idea that the long term Mini owners of this wonderful forum can help me ID what model/yr all the parts belong to?

First up a quick pick of my 75 Mini Clubman, very proud still :D

All up I picked up about 20 of these crates full of spares which included a 998 & 1098 engine/box, panels, grills, glass, speedo's, switch panels, rims, pumps, starters, alternators, manifolds, carbies, steering wheels, etc, etc.

So, if you don't mind I will start by posting up a couple of photos with numbers attached to the pics to help with the ID and to pinpoint what year/model all the parts belong to. Hopefully this turns out to be a bit of fun and I/we can learn a bit along the way!

First up......
1. Radio. yr, model?

2. Heater units? What were these fitted to?

Hope this ramble makes sense? If it does, lots more photos to come for ID.

You did well with all those parts, cool looking mini too.

2a is an under-bonnet fresh-air heater fitted to mini matics (round nose mini's)

1A is an AWA Diamond Dot radio from the 60s.

2A is like Bubba says, a Matic/Deluxe fresh air heater.

2B looks familiar, it might be an accessory heater for a truck. Do you have a photo of the other side?

Kind of helps, see it doesn't have a fan, it need to be mounted over an air vent to provide flow.
Minis don't have vents!

ram air heaters were definately an expensive extra, here is the proof.:-|

I think it was about $45 fitted as the optionable extra, in 1969.
