Post subject:  HELP CV CIRCLIP ASAP !
Hey everyone today while trying to replace my inner and outer boots the CV circlip decided it liked being in multiple pieces. Any idea where I'll be able to grab a replacement circlip, tomorrow is a public holiday in Melbourne so gonna be big ask to find one.

I have, in a pinch, created a CV clip from a 1/16th piece of piano wire...again....if you can find one on a public holiday.
I cold form them by wrapping them around a jack handle.

I'm not depresate I'm at the father in laws house 1.5hrs from home the car can stay here and grab one during the week.

They used to come with locking wire in some kits...but use a cable tie temporarily or even permanently

[assuming we are talking about clamping boots rather than driveshaftt circlips?]

Mackie, is this the clip which goes around the shaft and then pushes up inside the CV?
