Hi Guys,

Couple of questions in regards to painting my mini... will be getting it done professionally but I would be providing them all the paint. I'm going bare metal resto to get all the rust out so would be doing the entire shell (inside and out)

I'm thinking dark british racing green, white roof and 2 white stripes on the bonnet.

Couple of questions,

1. How much paint would i need to paint a roundnose morris? (both in dark green and white)
2. is there a good spot to purchase the paint from? ideally Australian.
3. Is it best to buy the paint according to the original codes?

Thanks

If you're getting it done professionally - why are you buying the paint?

The shop will usually get a better deal than you on materials ...and you need to ensure that all the materials (cleaners, thinners, etc etc) are fully compatible.

You also do not divided responsibility..

If you have a problem, the painter will blame your dud materials while the paint supplier will blame the painter ... and you better get busy finding a paddle...

Cheers, Ian

Haven't thought of that. Will have a chat to people.

Thanks
