Post subject:  Is this front original

Having just read the wanted adds where there is a query about the originality of the front end.
I have a 1964 (novemberish) and would like some opinion if it is period correct, not that I would change it if it wasn't.
Top bonnet mating panel with some spare holes and two studs.

Blinker and raised support.

Front apron although missing is the front bumper mounting angle. I'd love the angle if someone has one.

Those studs are for mounting the fresh air duct for the heater.

What's the black dot between blinker and headlight?

I would have thought a late 64 would have had the brake cutouts on the front valence?

It had a set of Domed plastic headlight covers on it. I still have them.
The Black Dot is a rubber plug. I'm yet to weld up the holes and touch up the paint.

I am seeing some very strange things, as my November 1964 850 has brake cutouts. Body number 59367.
I am certain the front panels have never been changed...

Whats the go?!

My body number is 55777, so earlier than yours.
When I enquirer on here what year/month it was I was informed it was likely November 1964 ?.

my 62 850 had the horn mounted on the studs.

as for the front bar mounts, never seen that before, mine has a full length seam with no notches at all as no overrider as std
