Hi All,
Just gathering some thoughts from people that run a front swaybar on their mini?

I have a rear bar fitted and I'm looking at tightening up the front, a friend has one I can buy off him but I thought i would ask the question first... The car sees the track on a regular basis...

My car has the following done to the suspension:
HiLo's
AVO Adjustable shocks on the corners
Moulden Cones
Kmac rear bar

Thanks.

to run a front bar you will need a lsd.

Already running a Salisbury LSD that is very tightly preloaded. Also I've asked a few "Expert" NB Racers and they come back saying that they have never tried them..... So....

The theory behind a stiff-ish rear sway bar on a FWD car like a mini is to increase grip at the front end & reduce understeer.
I know two people who have fitted front sway bars. One is as yet untried on a track only car, the other was road car and the owner was happy with the improvement the front bar gave.

I have a Swift Gti that has uprated Whiteline bars both front & rear. It tended to spin the fronts too easily with the open diff being so stiff.
