Hello to all.

Did any of the Australian Leyland Mini models have reversing lamps fitted as standard? My 77 has them but perhaps they're Rover ones?

What have people used as replacements for the the white border trim on the instrument faces - see pic below - ? I've made some up with white card but not happy with the result.

Thanks for any info. :D

All or most Leyland Minis had reversing lamps. They used the rear blinkers (which have twin filament 21/21W bulbs).

Thanks Doc

I have two different sets: one from the 77 and one from the 76.

This is from the 77.

That looks like a rover light cluster. The Australian Leyland light clusters had no clear window. When reverse was selected, the yellow reverse lights turned on. The indicators used a dual-filament bulb - one filament for the indicator, one for the reverse lights, so the reverse lights appeared to come from the indicator lens.
