Well my number is only 100 less than that YMA2S2 26786 and it is a June 1967 car. I'd say yours would be July 1967 or aug 67 at the very latest.

Where can I find this information? Last time I had to change a year of manufacture they asked me to prove the year, which was easy as it was on the compliance plate and just listed wrong on the rego papers. Is there a publication or similar I can quote to tell them thats where the information is?
