Hi all, My dad and I have recently acquired a very early 65 deluxe shell (looks to be a deluxe anyway) to get a couple of chrome bits off of it that are okay and the door handles. The problem is, it's one of the rustiest examples I've seen for a while.. pretty much the floor front to back is rusted, rust in the doors, rust under the back windows, rust in the A panels. I could go on.. My question is, is it worth someone saving (I certainly am not doing it!) or would she be a scrapper ( ![]() Wasn't sure if being fairly early might make it worth saving. I could get some pics, but just picture rust for now. James |

Please post some pics, there might be some things that people want. Does it have the hydro suspension? |

We're pretty much stripping all the salvageable parts off of the car and selling whatever is surplus to our needs, it will end up as literally a shell. No subframes or suspension on this one sorry |

I kind of don't want to see it get scrapped. I'll just sell it to someone in the UK... I've seen some of the things they have rebuilt over there haha! ![]() |

I was thinking of turning one into a BBQ or outdoor seat, or hanging a front or side on the wall of the garage. A trailer would be really cool too. Send me some photos when you get a chance ![]() |
