How should these be installed? It's been 20 years.

Should the LH RH pipes cross over ? ie, RH tank to LH hole in boot, LH tank pipe to RH hole in boot?

There is also a breather that goes on the end to rear passenger footwell. Is there 2 of these or are the pipes connected... Can't find an good pics to confirm.

Cheers.

The fuel breather pipes cross over the top of the boot to their respective opposite sides.
The breather from the rear boot floor connects to the breather on the fuel pump body to keep the fuel pump internal gubbins dry.

Thanks Mick.

Argh...... Great. Thanks. Always thought the breather to the the passenger kick board was for the fuel tank breather. But that would be just silly. Fuel pump breather makes much more sense.

I've only ever had a facet fuel pump on it.

What's best to use as the fuel tank breather pipe? Original stuff(if it is original) is way hard, with kinks. Not so good anymore.

Cheers, Leigh.

Turns out the micro irrigation stuff for your garden drip systems is pretty well spot on.

Hey SuperCooper.
I was going to ask the same question!
I had the same issue on my Mk2 i just picked up. Mine were 'installed RH tank out RH hole and same for left even though all the clips were across the top.
Thanks for the suggestion Mick. I will try the micro irrigation hose.

Irrigation hose worked a treat. $5 for 10m!

4mm diameter size plyable enough to put over the outlet.
