Spent the day with Richard (bluewhitecoopers) setting up suspension and steering. Ended up pretty good and 200% better than when we started. One question tho. On deceleration the car wants to swerve as soon as you back off. Which component affects this? Caster bars? Cheers. |

I would check the tie rod ends. I had similar on my daughters mini. After acceleration, took the foot of the accelerator and the car changed direction a little. Changed a sloppy tie rod end and all good. |

Check the tie bar mounts are still welded on solid, also the rubbers. The nut should be done up TIGHT. Unless the bars have split pins, I'd fit new nyloc nuts...! |

I would also check the steering arm mounting bolts & dowels these are very prone to coming loose (especially if been previously attacked by someone not knowing what they`re doing) loose steering arms are very dangerous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Will dbl check everything. Drmini built the rack - shld be AOK! Only started the swerve thing since we adjust the settings(Camber/Toe) so hopefully its not a hardware problem. But I will still check. Dont want a steering malfunction. Cheers. |
