Any body have a boot hinge repair panel or a right hand quarts patch below tailight ?
Boot floor repair is cheap enough 50bucks or so , but the full width hinge repairs area a whopping 350+

I had a similar problem with the rear of my car. I replaced the 250/300mm section of the boot floor which is not an easy job at all which is made much easier if you have a spit and able to do the welding from the outside. I bought the middle section of the boot lip and then made the repair sections for the lower area below the lights. These sections look difficult to make however if you have a shrinking/stretching machine they are a piece of cake, these machines are a must and when I bought mine on Ebay were about $180. I mounted my machine on a stand with a foot operated pedal so that I have two hands free to work the material.

If you have never seen one these machines in use have a look at the linked video.

Hope this helps

John I ended up shelling out for some new repair panels.
Will be replacing the lower valance, about 200 into the boot floor (similar to you) and also the boot lid mount rail. ( i bought the full length ..ouch)

My pig is on a spit and I have full access , so with a few tips from 68rusty Im going to tackle it.

probably will keep this thread going as Im not the first to do this and won't be the last I'm sure, so might be a good reference guide.

I will be interested to hear how the lower boot hinge section replacement goes. I have been told that alignment with the existing rear panel above the cut off is difficult and that replacing the whole rear panel is better. Then I found out the replacement rear panel requires a different window glass so I am not sure what to do.
