Post subject: | Overheating on idle |
My 1098 overheats on idle howeverit will go back down to normal temp once i start driving again. It doesnt take too long to overheat, 5 minutes atthe lights and it starts to creep up. Any suggestions for diagnosis? |

Loose fan belt, partially blocked radiator, corroded water pump. Just suggestions that come to mind. ![]() |

Apparently my fan is on backwards, althought there seen to be some debate about the proper direction. Can anyone clarify this? |

ohh yeah, called it ![]() fan is rooted too by the looks of the top blade dunno about newies, but that type of fan actually has "engine side" written on it |
