Morning, the left blinker on the binnacle works as it should but the right will flash once then stop, what could it be thanks?

It should not be the light itself, but is the indicator can still clicking? Does the external blinkers still blink normally?

At first guess I would look at the indicator can, but something else may be going on depending on the answers to the above.

Had the same thing a while ago. Didn't get to fix it as the indicators started working by themselves, and are still working! Lucas electrics......

I'd be looking at globe holder or printed circuit if its still the club man set up. The printed circuit bits are prone to cracking and corroding. At connections. I don't think it would be the flasher can or switch if the outside lights are working OK.

Thanks peterb this car is a round nose, so do you guys reckon the flasher can isn't the culprit?

The indicator can runs everything.

I would maybe just change the indicator bulb. It might have a problem with the filament when it gets hot.
