So having been a member for years (so inactive my account was deactivated) We finally have bought a mini project - its a 1968 delux. Was totally stripped by previous owner who then lost interest...
So, we are going to go a bit mental on this car (will be a build thread started on it once we have offloaded all the parts we don't need/want - car will be getting a 4efte, but with a difference!)
Anyway, here's a few pics...
So basically there is loads of stuff! Most of which is not required for our build.
Car originally had wet suspension, but also came with dry subframes, so there are 2 sets of wet subframes, there is the original motor & an additional 1100cc motor, 3 gearboxes, several sets of carbs (at least one set has been polished up) a cooper hash, alloy rocker cover (off the 1100 I think), 2 racks, driveshafts etc...
So what's this stuff worth? (how long is a piece of string?) I would like to get rid of all unnecessary parts to clear some space - whilst I don't want to give away gold, I would like a fair price for the parts. Anyone want to give me an idea on what any of this stuff is worth?
Once I have a basic idea of what's what, I'm happy to make a for sale thread for all items
fyi car & parts are in vic (SE suburbs)
