So I was just curious. I currently use Maguires (sp)
and am EXTREMELY happy with the quality of the
product. I use gold class wash, followed by colour boost polish
followed by gold class wax with GREAT results.

However I hear people that use Auto Glym trash Maguires and
Vica versa. Talked to the Bowdens last year when they were promoting
the families new range and have also heared great stuff about that
product.

So tell me what your verdict is. What do you like to use

Only ever use Bowdens Own for Slidey........... having met Dan Bowden and seeing his 70's 911 which was recently voted the best unrestored 911 in the world, i see no reason to even look at the others.

Also.... i wouldn't go near Meguiars with a 10ft Pole, bloody flakey dandruff alll over your duco after polishing......... doing the job twice etc etc

Chris, if i had the choice and money i would go with Zaino...... if you can find someone who sells it down there...

Have a look in the photo link, some of the duco's on customers cars are incredible

Meguiars does leave some dandruff like residue after polishing, however have you ever tried using their Final Inspection product to finish things off? Its really easy to use compared to polishing, and goes on and off like window cleaner. They recommend that you use this, as it cleans of any dandruff or polish residue, and leaves the car looking fantastic and smooth enough that a towel just glides over the duco.

If i was ever to polish a car, i'd go with Bowdens own, if it's keep his collection of car looking that good.

None of the above.....I reckon it's all overpriced!!!

I use PPG (Formerly Dulon) brand stuff - it's what beaters and tradies use.

Chong, I showed you my 'secret' bottle the other day....remember....

if the beaters and tradies use it, its usually a good bet :) They have a huge range of polishes at the specialist car paint suppliers shops. Trouble is working out which one you need
