You may have read of the Mini 1275GT body shell that was 'rescued' from one of the tunnels at Longbridge a few years ago. It is now on display at the Heritage Motor Centre Museum at Gaydon, UK.

I took these shots whilst on a recent holiday and thought they might be of interest to others.

Nice story win abbey.
Good to see a totally wrecked mini can keep company with so many immaculate others!

good to see that it was not "restored" and sold at a ridiculous price as the alst mini to come out of Longbridge too

Pity they sold off so many good cars to make room for a wreck at Gaydon.
They seem to want to destroy all the Leyland history and fill the place with more Minis and older stuff while slowly pushing the 70s and 80s out the back door.

Have watched this from the start when it was first found/recovered, I had hoped that this would be its lot in life.
It deserves to be kept just as it is.
