I have done a bunch over the years but not seen a how-to.
1. There are 4 hinges and all are different.
2. All the pins knock out upwards as viewed on the car. Do NOT try and do this in situ.
3. I shaped a piece of aluminium to support them properly whilst knocking the pins out with a hammer and pin punch.
4. I made a stepped punch to remove and press fit the bushes under my drill press.
5. The bronze bush in them is only 1/32" thick. If the old pin has worn through the bush and ovalled the hole, you cannot fit a standard bush. It needs the hinge tongue drilled out an oversized bush made, or find another hinge. I have made some in the past, 9mm OD x 1/4" hole, from bearing bronze.
6. After punching the new pin in, sand the top of it level with the hinge.

True, some hinges I have seen are marked with UL, UR, LL, LR etc instead of numeric but then again I have seen a few that have no markings at all  either way though the guide does a pretty good job of showing the basics of how to refurb a hinge.
