Hi everyone, Ihave just fitted new loom to my Moke project, all lights working with test but am having issues like when pressing horn , dash lights flash, heater switch sets of wiper motor, lol. I'm guessing I have put earth in wrong spot? I fitted earths to a bolt on the back of speedo where they previously were? Any thoughts, all items in good working order seperately, is a new loom from vinwire. Trying to get all dash stuff sorted before I fire it.
Thanks,
Steve

All sorted, traced it to a dodgy fuse box, switched for new one and everything works perfectly :-)

So after ALOT of tinkering i have a wiring system where everything works!!! The flasher staying on was just the flasher unit itself and a new quality one worted it. I still had some intermittent faults with dash panel lights, turned out that the earth was not strong enough attached to the rear of the speedo pod, I left taht earth there but ran another one to the body of the car and whamo it all works perfectly :-). Finally a happy chappy! Even turned the key with a little fuel down the bowl and it fired first go ( no exhaust on her yet), so looks like completion isnt too far away!

Well done Mooman. I'm sorry no one else could help, but be buggered if I could think of any one thing to sort all that out. Although nearly always incorrect, it seems that bad earths really was your problem!
