G'day,

Does anyone know how many vans and pickups were built in Australia? from Wikipedia over 500,000 were built in the UK but no details about Australian build numbers.

The number of pickups built in Australia was zero.

Van numbers are a bit of a struggle.
I think a very rough total would be around 27000.

I agree no pickups, but apparently MANY vans, both Mini and Clubman front.

Read up on the "VanTastic" article by our own Aus Expert, Watto, who is the force behind the Magazines known as Experience, ( Mini Experience, etc. ).
He goes into great detail about the vans over 2 or more issues (within the last few years )

Also see the posting at the beginning of Chat where the gentleman asks for owners to share the data they have on Aus built Minis for his book.

Best of luck in your search! ( From a Leyland Van owner - a 76 "Yellow Devil" 021G2V1M...)
Best,
MSH
