Hi everyone
Quick question, I've noticed oil coming out from the dipstick, im wondering is this due to pressuring?
The motor is a 1330 (1275 out of a 1100s) the only breather on the motor is out of the rocker cover, im thinking maybe this is the problem, any help is appreciated

My car did this from excessive crankcase pressure at high rpms. I only have the rocker cover to breath from but the PO put a second outlet on it.
I tried to run a completely sealed system but the PCV valves would not flow enough over 6500rpm. I would end up with oil on my front valance, starter motor, horn etc.
Now I run into a vented catch can before my PCV valve so the extra pressure is vented off at high rpms.

Thanks, I thought it must be due to pressure build up, pics help too, might make something similar

hey gtogreen1969, did you install the crane electronic ignition (noticed in your piccy fireball xr700), haven't seen one in a mini before, ?Darryl

It was there when I bought my car but I am changing it out for a powerspark high energy dissy and high energy coil.
