Without seeing a photo of your car, but assuming it started as a factory dark green Mk2, then it's probably connaught green.

Several factors are at play to confirm the true colour. I've viewed your photo on two screens and both look slightly different. Add to that cloud cover versus a sunlit photo of a genuine Connaught Green car (2200 region of production) I have and you can pick either way for BRG or Connaught Green when looking at a photo. Biggest deciding factor for your car is if the car has evidence of a body colour change. Depending how well this was done then under carpets, rear seat or the underside of the rear parcel shelf or car, or areas of the engine bay may help bring a conclusion. Failing that it's either had a very good colour change or is indeed a Connaught Green car that would easily pass off as BRG by someone who knew no better. Afterall the factory only ever put paint stickers near the master cylinders on their MkII Minis and once they disappear many would not know it was Connaught Green and classify it generically as BRG. A colour that has had many variations over the years.
