I saw this mentioned on another website but didn't see if there was a final outcome.. The statement was that even though the mini had the same shape over the 41 year production run, not one part from the original 1959/1960 model cars was common with the final 2000 year Rover minis (as fitted from the factory). And maybe a secondary question, which part stayed in production over the entire run (seeing as some went and then came back e.g. hydrolastic) I'm going to start by suggesting the sump plug and the rear wheel hub... well the front windscreen rubbers is right id say and still the same size screen even if it had a mirror base on it |

cruiza wrote: Nut on the end of the crank shalf There is no nut on the crank, maybe you mean the camshaft? If so I agree probably the same. Crank has 2 bolts. The clutch one has been changed once at least, and the crank pulley bolt has had a few different lengths. |
