I tried to buy some egine paint Metallic green Duco colour 203-13261 only to find that I got the dumb look of "not listed".

has anyone recently purchased this paint and know the current formula or current name please? I know that John Schmidt has the piant but I was hoping to buy locally as paint is something which can not be sent through the post.

When painting an engine what colour is the clutch slave cylinder, same as engine or something else?
Should the gearbox casing be painted or left raw aluminium?
Any othe comments!!!!

There's a couple of usable paint codes mentioned in this thread if you would like to have a look. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=86451&hilit=engine+paint+code
Master cylinders are left as plated by the maker.
Gearbox casing was painted as the engine was painted complete including thermostat, heater outlet, starter motor etc, but without dizzy, alternator, manifold etc.

I order paint that is delivered by courier pretty frequently. I know it can't go by post but I would think John could courier the paint to you. This is the info they send in the confirmation email. See the paragraph at the bottom.
