Can some out there in mini land advise if a mini matic fresh air under the bonnet heater is the same as the one in a mini deluxe which was an extra at the time. If so, does anyone have one that they want to part with for a price.

Yes the matic heater was an option for late deluxe and Mini K I recall.
Sorry, I don't have a spare.

For earlier Minis, there were aftermarket options like the Smiths `beehive' heater. Some of us back then fitted a Cooper one.
