Has anybody come across a GOOD valve spring compressor tool to suit the A-series head they would recommend. I have tried a few and all have been marginal at best.

I use a cutaway piece of gal waterpipe mounted in a drill press. Made it years ago from a sketch in a popular Mini service/modification book - BMC Mini's - Fraser and Marshall - not used often but works well
