| Post subject: | Engine troubles |
Today my mini was running pretty rough. Its an A series engine and was basically coughing and spluttering whenever i put my foot down on the accelerator, however it would run normally when i was driving at a constant speed. Any thoughts on what could be causing this to happen? |

Check your plug leads, they may need renewing. Points or electronic dissy? Check coil connections are all tight. SU carb? Check fuel pump and filter too. |

Maybe could even be something simple like lack of oil in the carby dash pot. |
