Are there fuel vapours in it? If there are its classed as a dangerous good and the post office wont take it, couriers may though. If its came off the boat with Noah it will be ok and I wouldnt mention what it is and use aus post I had one sent to me a few yrs ago via aus post. |

I had one sent to me via e-go no problems and depot to depot was cheaper than Aus Post. Wash it out good, tape all the openings then put it in a HD plastic bag if it is smelly and tape it up, then put it all in a cardboard carton. The cost will be calculated on the size of the box whoever ships it, not the actual weight. Mine was just listed as 'tank'. For e-go out of Adelaide depot to depot, you need to drop it down to the Hunter Express office at Kidman Park. Tim |

OK, just looked back on my emails.... it was Jan 2015 and e-go was about half the price of Aus Post. The weight was listed as 6kg packaged and the box was about 550x550x400mm. Cost was $25.08 from Villawood NSW to Adelaide, depot to depot. Tim. |

I sent something via ego yesterday in a cardboard box. For some reason listing it as "car parts" was $15 more expensive than a "parcel" , so check both the prices... |

e-go is the way to go. Depot to depot. I bought an aircon kit and depot to depot was massively cheaper than aus post. I have used them a number of times |

Pack and Send has always been right up there with Aus Post cost wise, and often more when I have enquired. They were something like a couple of hundred to get a bike from Victoria to Adelaide, which came through e-go for $24... $12 of which was insurance! e-go have got more expensive, but still beat everyone else for cost. |

I needed to send a fuel tank out of a Jensen cv8 from Sydney to Hobart, it was empty and vapour free. I bought a roll of bubble wrap from office works and wrapped it up with packing tape - sent it vie e-go and it was really cheap. I would highly recommend them. |
