So some of the long time residence here will know of Scrapper. The race car built from scrap.
Well for the last almost 8 odd year, scrapper has been running on hydro and other than the occasional top up, its been great. However, before Xmas, Scrapper got upset and cried green tears all over the place and sat on the floor whining about its punished life. So I gave it a little pat on it hood and gave it a new dummy(bag) to play with. Scrapper didn't like that dummy and promptly spat it back out crying green tears again. A little tender loving care and a new dummy(bag) inserted, Scrapper was finally happy to get back up and be driven round like a good car that he generally is.
Sadly, going out today to assure scrappers battery was full of go juice, i found that he'd over the last few weeks, spat another dummy, not only one, but two! Sitting on the floor crying his little heart out, i tried my very best to revive him with some new fluids(t's kinda like an englishmen giving you a cuppa tea when you're upset really) But it didn't help, he just kept crying his green tears.
Being scrapper is a working car, doing Motorkhanas and the like, I have decided that it is time to give him some love and a hip replacement on all four corners. It's time to go dry, yes thats right, i will sacrilege another Hydro car to gods of dry rubber. This will, in the long term, give scrapper a longer racing life with somewhat less maintenance.
Now being that scrappers always been built on left over scrap, buying and selling stuff to make him better, I'd like to see if anyone is interested in donating/swapping some parts. I'm looking for a pair of rear shocks, and rear hilos inc extensions. I have everything else needed to convert, but not those parts.
Scrapper lives in Sydney and any love shown for him would be great appreciated.

Cheers
Aaron
