 Post subject: Rocker Shaft Removal

Just wondering if its possible to remove the rocker shaft and rockers by slackening off the adjusters fully so that the shaft can be slid out
Or is it a matter of undoing the head stud nuts to remove the posts

It is possible, but much easier to work on with the whole thing removed.
If you remove it when cold with the 5 front head nuts left tight, generally it won't disturb the head gasket.
Just tighten the 4 rear nuts (inners first) to 40 ft/lb when refitting, then re-check the torque on the lot.
