| Post subject: | Rocker Shaft Removal |
Just wondering if its possible to remove the rocker shaft and rockers by slackening off the adjusters fully so that the shaft can be slid out Or is it a matter of undoing the head stud nuts to remove the posts |

It is possible, but much easier to work on with the whole thing removed. If you remove it when cold with the 5 front head nuts left tight, generally it won't disturb the head gasket. Just tighten the 4 rear nuts (inners first) to 40 ft/lb when refitting, then re-check the torque on the lot. |
