Hi Guys,

Am trying to work out what colour white to paint my roof to go with a dark british racing green exterior, what colour/code of white is typically used for a morris mini? know it wont be original for my 71 mini k, but i like the look so what the hell.

For that era it would be Crystal White.

Common what about a very pale green

They kind of changed whites every couple of years, it roughly looks like this...
1963 Nuburg White
1965 Toga White
1967 Snow White
1969 Crystal White

Snow white is a creamy white, Toga white is a bit whiter, Crystal White is a very white white, like a fridge.

Take a look at Doug's epic Australian Mini Paint & Trim Colours thread.

If you look at the photo from timmy201, the red mini on the left of the green mini, that roof is crystal white(as close as cameras and screens go).
It suits some colours but can look like an afterthought.
Goldbrocade_62 has a good suggestion. I painted my mini K's roof in a very pale green that matched Willow Green body. Pure white would have been too much.
