Now I have a standard 998 with a unleaded 202 head. I saw his SC kit that he had for his Moke come up for sale, now I have done a little reading would I be better off calling and talking to GR. It does look a good price and I am tempted.

What else would need to change to suit the SC setup? would I need to lower the CR a little as well as get a new cam?

Do you have a link to the SC ad?
From memory a std 998 has a comp ratio of around 8.5 - 9.0 : 1 so it should not be to bad. It all depends on how much boost it will make.

Ok, it's a tough one, ideally that setup (any forced induction set up) should go onto an engine built to match/handle it. If the head is still off the engine go have a chat to GR about lowering the compression.
On the other hand if the engine is together and doesn't owe you much at all just bolt it on and go for it, but be prepared to kill it and then rebuild it or another engine/box in the future $$$.
