Did Repco make uprated clutch pressure plates or were they based on original fitment? just trying to work out what is in my gt motor |

If the clutch did not slip it must be OK. |

The Repco catalogue from 1984 shows the same pressure plate on the Mini and the Cooper S/Clubman GT. (part number deleted) It shows a different driven plate though. |

Measure the thickness of the diaphragm spring and compare it to a blue dot S one. I think same or thicker. I don'thave one here, will check tomorrow. |

The Repco one I have the spring measures 2.35mm thick. My AP grey dot one is 2.5mm. Both blue dot Cooper S ones here measure 2.10mm. I seem to remember this Repco one was the same thickness as an orange dot one. |

Can't find my orange must have used it repco one is 2.30mm and a new blue dot is the same i have a light green one that is 2.10mm |

Hmmm... the 2 I have here are definitely blue dot? Took one out of an S last week. I throw old green dot ones away...! Unless I am going colour blind and they are green..! ![]() |
