hey gang, I has hold of an 998 rover carb model, now the hazard lights work but the indicators have said that they want to have a holiday. Can anyone tell where / what to look at before 9 am Friday ...... gotta go out in it and with the high fun police presence on our roads this weekend I want to keep a low profile. I'm thinking { hoping} its a fuse but I don't know where to start looking. |

Clean the plug connections to the hazard switch and indicator switch. |

Just a thought! Do they use the same relay? check if they have one for hazards and one for indicators. I fixed a problem with a friends Rover 75 hazards as it had 2 relays so maybe the rover mini is the same! Maelgwn |

If you have a test light, you could check the following. First and easiest is the light green going to switch, with key on you should have power there, it's the wire from flasher unit, if yes, check green/red (lh) and green/white (rh) with switch to apropriate side. If no Power to light green wire on switch, check the All green wire You should have power'if no check fuse And or connections. After that it gets a Little more complicated with hazard switches and relay units. There's 2 fuses for system, one'Under bonnet with brown and purple/orange wires. The other is 35a fuse that works brake and reverse lights as well so if they work it won't be it. |

On Carb Model Rovers they have separate flasher units one for Hazards and one for indicators. |
