Hi all,

I just ordered this boss kit from minisport.com

http://www.minisport.com/mllb25h-moto-l ... -1976.html

But it doesn't seem to fit my 1967 Mini Cooper S despite the guy at minisport assuring me it should.

Does anyone know if the australian Minis differ at all?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi. It's the B25 boss you will need to fit a Mota-Lita wheel onto an Oz column. The B25's have variants e.g B25A but I'm not sure what the letters mean.

I just had a look at the part number on your link - B25H. Is this stamped on the boss?

I thought the correct boss kit was the B1H? I've got a mota-lita fitted to my 67 S but I'll need to check which one is fitted.

The one I have has B25 stamped on it.

Doesn't seem to slide on. I'm sure I'm not supposed to force it.

Any chance that the column has been switched?

All Minis sold here have the same column splines.

There is a different boss kit for the centre horn and the horn on the stalk, there is also a difference depending on where the indicator cancelling pin is.

I bought a Mountney brand one from the UK for a pre 76 mini and it fit my car fine.

There is also a different boss to suit the MK1 (850) column shroud and the Mini K, Clubman type shroud. If you want it to look right it is important to get the correct one.

MY horn is on the stalk (indicator lever) but the boss I bought is for a center horn. Could this be the difference.
ie will the boss with a horn kit, still fit a car with a stalk horn?
