When one spends a lot of time on exclusively freeways, at 100 and 110, what are the wear indicators to watch for in a 1275 engine? If it is constant speed and relatively low load, are there effect to the gearbox which would not be found with the fits and starts of city driving? |

Cruising fast or slow in 4th gear the power flow is only direct through the mainshaft. The gear train except the drop gears is just spinning unloaded. |
