When one spends a lot of time on exclusively freeways, at 100 and 110, what are the wear indicators to watch for in a 1275 engine?

If it is constant speed and relatively low load, are there effect to the gearbox which would not be found with the fits and starts of city driving?

Cruising fast or slow in 4th gear the power flow is only direct through the mainshaft. The gear train except the drop gears is just spinning unloaded.
