Ive read a bit about it and could knock one up but my time outside of work is pretty limited for shopping, so does anyone in newcastle have a cone compressor i could borrow? Payment in beer, weekend car work or love.
Cheers
Nic

If I'm carrying on like a pork-chop, I'm having a great time.

If I go very quiet there's a very good chance I broke something.

just remove the top control arm completely
you won`t need the spring-compressing tool
fit hi-lo adjuster struts back in & again , no need for compressing tool
re-new the control arm bearings & pin & seals while you`re there
check the 'seat" inside the top arm for the cone shaped seat that needs to still be cone-shaped for the new nylon cup to seat correctly

if you fit a new nylon cup into a worn arm it will distort quite quickly & you will have problems
Matt

How hard is it to remove the top arm? I'd like to replace all my bushes and rubbers in the front end and haven't attacked the suspension yet
