 Post subject: Cooper S Clutch

Need to replace my 1310 Copper S clutch, road car only, blue dot AP kit or would orange dot pressure plate be better if so what clutch plate would be best.

I'd do the orange dot with a stock to rally plate

Darrell,

For a stock 1275 S and road use the blue cover with standard plate will be adequate. The blue cover should be good for about 80-85ftlb engine torque, and is much kinder on the crank thrusts than orange cover.
