About right. The problem is that if you try to lower it it I'll just scrape. As the others say, they'll settle after a while although it will never be super low.
This is mine and it pretty much matches others I've seen.

Hi all, just fitted some sports pack arches to my round nose. But I have one question, how much clearance is there normally on the wheel to flare? At the front I have about 70mm and it looks crap. I couldn't have bought flare down any Lower as it wouldn't meet sill. I have brand new rubber cones and Shocks. Any suggestions? |

brand new rubber cones will sit up high for a little while - so once they've settled, some put in some hi-lo adjustables instead of your trumpets you're best off putting the flares in the 'proper' spot and adjusting the ride height to get the clearance you want. |

They do sit high - untrimmed arches are visible from the side of the car. Lower the car by 25mm - most people run about 50mm from wheel to arch. |

The more you drive it the sooner they will settle. I had the same issue with my Smooth A Ride kit with the adjustable trumpets screwed all the way in it still sat very high. Drove it around a bit every weekend and it slowly came down. It's now at the height I like 525mm from garage floor to underside of wheel arch at centre of wheel at the front and 535 at the back. Front adjusters are still screwed all the way in. |
