Hi everyone , New here and HELLO~

no luck on finding a replacement front windscreen for my Rover mini MPI 1999
so just wondering do anyone have one in stock or should i use Auss Mini Front windscreen and rubber seal ?

only problem is , I found out the Rover mini MPI have a thicker windscreen and thicker rubber seal, can it fit the Auss Mini front windscreen and rubber seal on a rover MPI?

thanks for your help
Best Regards
Dave

Hi Dave,

The seals are interchangeable on the front screen from aussie to rover minis - it's the same in section the rover one is just a bit wider around the outside in an effort to provide a bit better water resistance over the old setup.

For the window - though an aussie one would fit, i'm not sure if it has to have any standards or years of manufacture relevant to the rover and its SRS system - so might have to check that.

Yes, the Rover one is wider and covers more steelwork AND the glass is thicker, certainly thicker than earlier screens. As Harley said though they are interchangeable as you are unlikely to get one made for a non- laminated (toughened) screen.

Had mine fitted at Windscreen Power on Duro St in North Geelong.
Don't know where they got it or if held in stock.
