Minis in the Gong would like to extend a massive thank you to all those who supported our fundraising efforts during the past year through our calendar sales or visiting our Show and Shine. A big thank you also to the businesses who supported the 2016 Calendar as advertisers, the car owners who allowed their cars to be included and to everyone who worked behind the scenes at the 2016 Show and Shine to make this happen.

This year we have made donations to two charity organisations.

First up we have made an $800 donation to Camp Quality by supporting “Team BMC Adventures” as they enter a Mini Van in this years Camp Quality ‘esCarpade’ charity car rally.

This year will be Rally No. 4 for the Mini Van and we wish Craig Watson and Craig Illing every success in the rally and their fundraising efforts leading up to and during the 2016 event. Craig is the editor of the Mini Experience Magazine and if you visited our show this year he attended with his stall and kindly presented our awards. The Rally runs from October 22nd to 29th starting from Batemans Bay NSW covering thousands of miles over a week and visiting scores of towns to spread the Camp Quality cheer and put smiles on the faces of kids living with cancer.

Please follow the team at https://www.facebook.com/TeamBMCAdventures/ or at the Rally Website http://www.escarpade.org.au/profile/b-m-c/. Please consider supporting the team further in reaching their fundraising goal of $10,000 by making a personal donation at the teams website, Good Luck Guys!

Our second charity donation of $500 will be to Epilepsy Australia.

An incredible 1 in 26 Australians will develop Epilepsy in their lifetime. Epilepsy Australia is the national coalition of Australian epilepsy organisations working together to keep the community informed on the latest medical breakthroughs, social research, publications, news and policies about epilepsy. One of our key organizing members has had a close association with this organization. Please visit http://www.epilepsyaustralia.net for more info.

Once again thanks everyone for your time and support, …see you on the next run!
