Have been lurking for a while, but finally bought a mini, so it seemed like time to say Hi!

I've bought a 1988 Rover UK import - currently unregistered, and will need a little bit of work to get it through the compliance process

Done - doubtless will need some help soon, this one hasn't been driven for a couple of years and has a few rust spots that will need dealing with before they become major issues.

I was about to say, "UK Import" = check for rust

On the basis of an initial inspection, it seems to be in surprisingly good condition on the rust front, so I'm hoping that I don't find any really nasty surprises as I dig deeper.

So far the list is:-
- Front Vallance
- RHS A-Panel
- RHS lower window frame
- Both rear Seams
- Both Rear floor corners

Other than the Rear floor corners, it looks like just surface rust on the other locations - the floors have been patched badly before so we'll get those cut out and tied up properly.

If the trail of paperwork is to be believed then it's had two previous owners, and has only covered 28,000 miles - mechanically it seems to be in reasonably good order.
