Price is $125/set without the washers.

27/5/16
They're in. See page 3 for details...

9/3/16
Drawings seen, thumbs up given for production of the larger 3/4" (19mm) nuts.

Price $140/set which includes 16 tapered washers.

2/3/16
Sample nut and washer received by Neil.

Washer to be made from plated steel.

Feedback on foreseeable (or experienced) problems by using a larger hex on the standard sized washer would be great.

16/2/16 update
Size will be 3/4" or 19mm

9/2/16 update
Minimum quota has been met. Once Neil receives the sample, he will make detailed drawings to enable them to be manufactured. There will be more than enough to meet demand.

The stainless steel grade is 303.

An opportunity has come about where I might be able to have these made. The manufacturer wants a sample of a nut and a tapered/angled washer. I have a spare nut, but not a spare washer. Would someone have a spare? New or used, it doesn't matter and it will be returned.

Who else would be interested in a set (x16)? Price has not yet been discussed but last price listed here was around $200/set. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=76443&hilit=stainless+contessa

Plan B: who has a set for sale?

Cheers

I bought a nos Contessa years ago from 'Graham in aus' on here. It had no washers in, so I made 4.
When you bought new replacement nuts from ROH they came with washers, I dunno why, because the washers jam in the wheels and stay there. I have seen people put these new washers against the old, a dangerous practice.

i have washers here & you can borrow one if you like
i can still make these nuts, the problem was that piles of people said "yes i`ll have a set"
but once made they sat here for ages , dribbling out the door
i`m happy to make other sets if there`s interest because we are already set-up to do them
but i`d be wanting pre-paid orders if we do it again
cheers & swing me a call or PM if you want the washer still
Matt

The Driver's Handbook alloy road wheel fitting instructions referred to in the above Service Bulletin aren't very comprehensive.

Winabbey,
I think your Technical bulletin re alloy wheels/nuts/washers is different from the owner's handbook excerpt which shows a Rostyle steel wheel that used a dome type of wheel nut not needing a countersunk washer.

Ok so to generate some momentum I've inquired about prices and turn around time. Neil wants an initial 6 orders to be fulfilled for $100/set! Heck I'll take 2 if need be.

C'mon people, this is relatively cheap. And likely with the washers included (still negotiating).

As for turn around time I'll just quote. "Lead time from receipt of sample and confirmation of engineering drawing 3-4 weeks plus any shipping time."

Made in Engerland - China's version of England. Jokes aside, they are indeed from U.K so allow some time for delivery.

Questions?

Your interest is noted Matt. Yes stainless.

For those of you who are interested, is there anything in design (in both nut and washer insert) that you would like to be different? e.g., length etc...Please specify so that I can pass on the request to Neil.
