Hi all,
could you please identify what remote gearbox this is
is it 3spd syncrho or 4spd synchro,
it is 12G1128?
not 22G1128

Yes there is one in Mini Car Clinic/ Mini King catalog I will post details shortly.

These are all remote type:
3 synchro-
22G68- also used on magic wand
22G190
22G333
22A1228
22A1522

4 synchro- these 2 boxes are functionally identical. Used on both remote and puddin' stirrer shifts.
22G1128- most common one here
22G846

Had a quick look around and couldn't find the 12G1128.

I believe the gearbox is from the UK united kingdom(England)

I need to verify if it is
998
0r 4 synchro 1275

I will see if I can get an answer from the person and I

Have you seen the casting number yourself or was it relayed to you by another person?

All these gearbox casings came from UK they were not cast here.
However some gearsets were made here by Borg Warner.

It is very easy to identify a 4 speed syncro case from a 3 speed syncro case, Numbers are not required to do this.

On a 3 Speed syncro Case the area of the case Directly above the sump plug is FLAT.
On a 4 Speed syncro Case the area of the case Directly above the sump plug has a very obvious RAISED section in the casting.(A LUMP)
There are no exceptions.

Looking at logically. If there is no 12G on the listing, only 22G, a then it appears to be pommie Mk2 4 speed depending on the lay gear.
