Hi all how do you keep the rubber cones in place? When I jack the car up they always fall out of place. They are in a wet subframe is that the problem? The cones and shocks are brand new. Do I need shorter shocks? |

we fit the std Hydro rear ext rod bacxk in (the type with the spring inside) that way , no matter how low you set your suspension ride-height, the whole lot stays in place however, Most mini shops sell the "after-Market" type rear ext rods, with no sprung pin so any lowering (or fitting into hydro frames/arms) the cone can fall out & jam & such |

Thanks gtogreen. I understand how this works for hydro suspension, but how can these be fitted to dry suspension cones and work. I must be on the wrong track or train of thought. |

You use them with HiLos instead of the trumpets. But no one else has mentioned HiLos so maybe I am on the wrong track. |
