Aussie dollar is continuing to improve and this morning 7th July is:
58.21 GBP
75.13 USD
67.69 EUR

Am I correct to understand we are about to pay 10% GST on imports due to Joe Hockey and his mates?

I am betting it is off the agenda now. Joe was all about it but AFAIK no agreements are in place for any foreign company to collect GST on sales into Australia.

Yes I am patiently watching it go from $1.79 to $1.72 today. When it hits $1.70 I think I will hit check out on my basket of goodies ($1.70AUD to 1 GBP)

Not long to go now before one Aussie dollar will be one New Zealand dollar!

The rate is doing very well by us, I had 2 of the 'mini in a box' delivered for under $360 each which is a big improvement from what I was quoted when I first checked them out way back when :D
