Hi all,

Today my 69 Mini K, whilst parked near the Shrine of Remembrance was reversed into by the gentlemen parked in front of me. (see below photos).

Fortunately he left a note with his contact info. The damage isn't too bad considering however the grille is stuffed, the grille surround is dented as is the front bumper. There are a couple of scratches/dents on the bonnet and around the grille and the fog light is stuffed.

Can anyone recommend a good panel beater in Melbourne that would have experience working on older cars? I am located near Richmond but happy to travel for the right place. It will be going through insurance so not fussed about the cost, just looking for someone who will do a good job.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I had Stylerod panels in Kilsyth repair my Clubman a couple of years ago, they did a really good job. Definitely know their way around old-school panel beating.

I would highly recommend Adrian Read

http://www.arsmashrepairs.com.au/

Adrian is a Mini enthusiast born and bread. I have seen a rolled Mini shell that he spliced a new roof onto and you couldn't tell!

He will also make sure a replacement grille etc are of the correct quality.
