Hi all is there any way of getting scratches out of glass?

Yes, but depends how badly. You can do it with a random orbital polisher and glass polishing compound. I've tried this myself with mixed results but apparently you need a pretty powerful polisher ($$$) and mine is an entry level. It will remove and fill in very very minor scratches but any deeper than a few microns I think you need to talk to a glass specialist?

try tooth paste on the polisher, takes a while but does eventually cut through the scratches

Be careful with your toughened glass windows and original Mini (non S) windscreens. The outer layers are in compression, if you do much heavy polishing work it can go BANG! So a glass merchant told me.

I did read about someone even just using clay bar on their windscreen and BANG!

Might have been here on Ausmini.......

It's the rear screen and has a scratch that you can feel with your finger nail. Right it in the bloody middle
