Just following on a few posts of late - I am looking to paint my Mk2 LP883 std rims in the correct BMC Silver Birch.

Can anyone recommend a paint supplier in Brisbane area that has mixed it up and that your happy with?

I had some mixed up a few weeks ago in Protec, clear over base. He couldn't do 2k as the toners have changed over the years and now Metallica are only COB. He also found the formula on computer, plus also mixed up some Marine Blue in 2k which was a very close match to the Acrylic version.
I have now sprayed the wheels and coated with 2k clear over the silver birch. Colour looks pretty close to original.
